AI in medium-sized companies

After our technical manager, Mr. Jörn Kuhlenbeck, established contacts with the SmartFactory in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute last year, we are now also in contact with the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (HSBI).

During a visit to Prof. Dr. Ing. Jürgen Sauser, together with our technical draftsperson Ms Kathrin Schulz from engineering and our trainee Mr Mustafa Miradil, we were given great insights into digital technologies and AI in daily work processes.

To come back to the initial question, “Did Leonardo da Vinci already know about AI?”.

Prof. Dr. Ing. Jürgen Sauser demonstrated machine whispering using AI to our team from Lohmann at HSBI using the example of Leonardo da Vinci's thrust crank.
